Bootcamp wifi not detecting networks after mac OSX wifi update

Did the OSX wifi update for the 2013 macbook airs change anything in the wifi adapters firmware? As since i have updated the wifi in OSX, Windows 7 no longer picks up any networds, the adapter installed fine.

Thanks.

I have a Late 2012 27 in iMac with a similar issue. I installed Bootcamp and the drivers. Everything seemed fine except the wifi does NOT load. It shows up as disabled and when I try enabling, it gives me a window saying "enabling" and dissappears after a few seconds with no change at all. I created a post here with some details https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5272823

I tried steson322 trick, but that didn't work either 😟

I have manage to solve this problem on my MBA 2013 :

1. Install Boot Camp requirements by Mac model

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634

(For MBA 2013, using BootCamp assistance to download latest bootcamp driver)

2. If Network Adapter not working, direct to the bootcamp driver that you have download
BootCamp -> Drivers -> Broadcom -> (manually install "BroadcomNetAdapterWin7/8x64)

then your network adapter should be working
Hope this helps

I'm pretty sure whatever issue you're having is not the same issue everyone else in this thread is having. If you were having the issue described in this thread, you wouldn't even be able to see any wireless networks let alone connect to them. If you're connected to a network and have an IP address I don't think this thread it's going to be any help you. You should search the forums some more or start a new thread.

Hi -

I'm still having the no wifi problem in Bootcamp/Win 8.

I've re-installed Bootcamp, and replaced the Broadcomm BCM4360 driver (to the best of my ability - it only took the Download 1 from the link above)) and at least my Win8 seems to be looking for a wifi network now, but can't find anything.

The rebooting and shutting down hasn't worked, and I've never turned off the Bluetooth in OS Mavericks.

When I option-key boot up, I get a network pulldown menu that shows my wifi, but if I sign in, then boot up Win8, it gives me a Win8 error message and shuts itself down again, rebooting in OS X (the "preferred" OS option).

If I option-key boot up for Win8, but don't select any network (my usual means), I can get to Win8 fine, but I've never had a wifi connection.

Any suggestions?
