Forgotten iPhone Passcode, No Computer

I forgot my iPhone pass code.

I know in not going to remember it & I DON'T have a Computer , so I think my only option is to Erase everything , right?

If so, how do I go about erasing everything & using my phone again?? Again.. I don't have a Computer .

If I use the Find my iPhone app and erase everything will I be able to get back into my phone?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1

Do you have Find my iPhone set up on the phone? If so, then you can log into iCloud.com and sign in and then go to the find my iphone icon and you will see your device and then you have the option to wipe the phone. Unfortunatly you will lose everything but will at least have a phone to use.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946 See section: iTunes and encrypted backups.

Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.

If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore, choose set up as a new device.

It appears that many people have experienced different outcomes. However, per this article, if you restore from a backup that has an encrypted passcode, then that passcode is a part of the backup and will reappear after the restore is complete. The only way to work around this is to restore as a new device.

Sorry but if you restore from a back up and you had a passcode on that phone during the back up process your settings, including the iphone passcode could restore to the phone. It doesnt always happen but around 60% of the time it does. For a safety measure it's best to restore to factory settings for a passcode issue... restore from iCloud would bypass this.

Which is why I said "Restore iPhone", not Restore Backup. This doesn't mean the passcode is in the backup; it means that the passcode on the phone is not erased when restoring a backup. There's a good reason the passcode is not in the backup; if it were that would be a securlty hole, because anyone who had a copy of the backup could get into the phone.
