BootCamp Stuck on "Downloading Windows Support Software"

Hello all. I am trying to install Windows 7 using bootcamp however it keeps getting stuck on Downloading Windows Support Software. The loading bar gets about half way and then stops. I have done this before however I used a blank CD to copy the support software onto and I tried doing the same thing this time around however bootcamp would not let me so I am stuck with using a USB. I have tried restarting my computer however that did nothing. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sometimes, Boot Camp Assistant can't download the Windows support software. I suggest you to download the drivers from the Apple website depending on the MacBook Pro model you have and the Windows version you want to install.

Check which Boot Camp version you can use in your MacBook > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634 Then, download Windows support software from one of these links depending on the Boot Camp version you use:

- Boot Camp 4 > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1630?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

- Boot Camp 5 > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1638?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Ok. I installed the Windows ISO image I had onto a DVD and got windows to install. The only problem I have is I do not know how to install the Apple Support Software that I have on my USB Drive. The first time I put it into my computer (when running Windows) It said "Installing USB drivers" However after that nothing happened. I can't find where to open the USB drive. It is as if it is not even in the computer.

I tried repluging the USB drive multiple times however it still does not come up. When I try to open internet explorer it says I can't connect to the internet because I do not have the correct drivers. I have tried using both WiFi and plugging a internet cable into my computer however both do not work.

Start in OS X holding the X key while your Mac is starting. Then, insert the USB drive and access to it in Finder. Choose all the content of the USB drive pressing Command and A keys, right-click them and choose Burn. After that, insert a DVD and burn them. Finally, start in Windows and install Windows support software
