Are you having issues with Facebook contacts? "The operation couldn’t be completed. (CoreDAVHTTPStatusErrorDomain error 500.)"

Below is the error I am getting in the console from the Contacts program on my MacbookPro running Mountain Lion.

Accroding to that, it seems like there is an issue with Facebook's webdav server. What are some options for me to resolve this?

I tried visiting https://webdav.facebook.com/ It gave me a user/password prompt. I entered my username and login for Facebook, but it didn't work. Do I have to turn something on in Facebook to allow my MacbookPro to access the webdav.facebook.com?

Thanks

Open the Mail, Contacts & Calendars preference pane in System Preferences, and select Facebook. Make a note of the settings for the account, then delete it from the list.

Then follow the instructions on this page: Resetting the SyncServices folder.

Log out, log back in, and recreate the account settings in System Preferences. See whether there's any improvement.

Thank Linc Davis for the suggestion. I tried resetting the SyncServices folder according to the instructions. Unfortunately it did not work. I am still get the same error message. I checked the console log and it is identical to the one I posted.

I tried restoring my OS X installation. I did a erase and restore through the recovery (cmd+R) feature. It didn't work. I've sent an email to Facebook about the domain error 500. I hope they reply with a fix (as in a fix with their server).

In the meantime, I welcome any other suggestions.

Thanks.
