Safari video's no image but sound

Hi all.

I'm using a MacBook Air and Safari, all latest updates done as requested by the system.

Since a couple of days, I can't view any video's anymore in Safari (youtube, news sites, facebook): instead of the image, I either get a black square, or sometimes I get a distorted, glitchy image of some random colour patterns.

However, I still hear the sound fine.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

Thanks!

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All

Press the "Delete All" button

2. Install Adobe Flash Player.

Quit Safari.

Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

3. Turn off Extensions, if any.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Best.
