charging cable keeps breaking; it starts charging and then "beeps" and stops, won't charge. It's my 5th one! Just replaced at the Apple Retail Store. What makes them break in about 3 weeks?

HELP!

My charging cable starts charging OK, then "beeps" and won't charge. I just replaced it new at the Apple Retail Store. What makes them break in about 3 weeks?

I do see a bunched-up section at the head end; wires must pull loose...?

Even after the atmost care taken using the cable, it continues to break.

Not sure why this is not considered by Apple and come up with a better cable after so many users the world has this serious problem

Like Lawrence, I've never had a cable fail. The fact that you've had that many fail would indicate you're doing something to them. Do you wrap the cable around the phone while it's still plugged in? When you have it plugged into charge, do you have some slack in the cable?
