How do you view deleted websites from history?

No backups or timemachine ?

If you mean just using the browser to revisit - then no, you can't. If you're trying to jog a memory, or check something out, then maybe.


You can view cookies/storage/cache in Safari - Preferences - Privacy - Details & get an idea of the sites that were visited, albeit not the actual pages within them.


The snapshots at Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Webpage Previews/ are normally removed when a page is deleted from history - but you never know...


Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db may likely have traces too; you could trawl through in textedit or use a database application like http://sourceforge.net/projects/sqlitebrowser/
