I want use migration assistant to transfer all my old files and applications, from my Mac Mini (late 2011 runnning OS X 10.7.5) to my new Macbook Pro (2012 13 inch without Retina running 10.8.3).
I have tried:
-Connecting both computers with Thunderbolt.
-Starting up migration assistant on them both.
When they try to connect they automaticly use WIFI instead of Thunderbolt.
Any suggestions?

Turn off Wi-Fi in both Macs. To do it, press the Wi-Fi icon on the menu bar and disable Wi-Fi, so Migration Assistant will only be able to use Thunderbolt
Have tried turning W-FI off.....
In that case, it's not possible that Migration Assistant uses Wi-Fi, so Thunderbolt should be used automatically.
Are you sure that the Mac mini has got Thunderbolt? Mid 2011 and newer Mac minis come with Thunderbolt, but to check this, open > About this Mac > More Info, and tell me the generation of your Mac mini, for example, "Mid 2011"
