I am trying to stream lovefilm from my ipad to Apple TV. The sound is coming through but not the visual, how can I fix this? Please help!
The first generation Apple TV does not support video streaming, only audio. Is your Apple TV a small, black box or is it a larger, silver unit like the Mac Mini? If it is the larger, silver model then it's a frist generation and will not stream video.

Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow Basic AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).
Mirroring doesn't need enabling and will work by default, however some developers have chosen to block AirPlay mirroring working with their apps.
