I read some of the discussions about a full MacHD drive but there isnt enough space to download anything to fix it, cause it is full. I dont even know how to look at what the problem is.

1. Empty Trash.

2. Delete "Recovered Messages", if any.
Hold the option key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
Select "Library" from the dropdown.
Library > Mail > V2 > Mailboxes
Delete "Recovered Messages", if any.
Empty Trash. Restart.

One common place for forgotten "big stuff" is the Downloads folder.
Open it in List View in the Finder, and then choose View Options and "calculate all sizes". Click on the size column once or twice to get the largest items to the top of the list. Then look at each and throw it into the Trash and eventually, empty the Trash.
Rarely, a failed backup or copy attempt will create a large dead zone on your drive.
To detect such a problem, open a Finder window and use the Finder's Go Menu, Go to Folder. Enter
/Volumes
If everything in the window that opens is an Alias of size under 8KB, you do not have this problem.
I tried to download omnidisksweeper but there isn't enough space to download it ironically enough.
