Has anybody ever had this "Traffic Reroute Notification" pop up? I have been purposely driving towards high traffic areas in Chicago where TomTom and Garmin both reroute me, yet Apple Maps takes me right through the traffic.
Is this false advertising (this is seen on the Apple Website very clearly)? Or has somebody actually experienced this notification?

Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services...is Traffic on or off? And, remember, this is "crowd" sourced, which means there needs to be enough users on your route, all with Traffic turned on & using Apple's Maps App.
I understand all that.
My question is still the same: Has anybody experienced this traffic notification while driving?
I have searched the internet thoroughly, and find no evidence that this feature has ever worked.
Never. Actually when driving today, it didn't update my ETA. When stopping and starting the route - it knew there was traffic. Doesn't seem to update while driving.
received my first prompt today. A six minute savings.
