I want to duplicate a song in one playlist but iTunes doesn't let me do it. I copy the song from one playlist and try to paste it into the same playlist but iTunes just ignores my paste command. Neither "Ctrl+V" nor "Edit>Paste" works in this case. iTunes only let me copy the song to different playlist but not the same one. Why? Can't I arrange the songs so that I can listen the same song for two times?

You can't have the same song appear twice in a smart playlist, unless you make a physical copy and add it into the library. However for regular playlists this should be possible, although you should get a warning. Try turning on the sidebar (CTRL+S) if not on already, then drag & drop the track of interest.

You can't copy from the playlist back to itself, but if you select tracks in Music or any other playlist, you should be able to drop onto the regular playlist you're trying to add to. I've just added 12 versions of "All Along The Watchtower" into an existing playlist that already contained the same 12 tracks, and now each appears twice.
