iPhone 5 music/sound issue

Hi all. I am having a sound issue with my iPhone 5 & hoping someone knows a fix. It won't play music or sound - not on headphones or without. I can get sound b/c it rings and makes text noises but when I try and use an app like Pandora, or use music when running with Nike+, it just won't play. It shows that it's playing but there's nothing coming out of the speaker, nor the headphone when I plug headphones in.

Tried to search and no one seems to have my exact problem since it WILL make sound for texts and rings, just seems to be related to music (but again it's not just downloaded music b/c it won't play streamed music either)

Any input is appreciated
