Hello all,
i as given an old ipod touch by my uncle. i had the chance to use it twice , and now, it says : "ipod is disabled, connect to iunes".
It happened after my little sister (16months) bite the ipod close to "home" button.
When i connect it to itunes, i have to enter the password, but can't as the ipod is disabled.
I can't do anything except see the screen below :
(can't unlock, turn off etc)

My ipod 5 did same thing. Said "ipod is disabled, connect to itunes" and was locked by passcode. I put in DFU mode and worked! Thanks! I held power and home till ipod turned off then let off power and continued holding home button until itunes responded and i let go of home button and ipod stayed off and itunes let me restore.

Follow the instructions already given in this discussion. Nothing has changed since then.

This helped me connect a locked/broken iPod touch to iTunes, holing power and home and then after it reset just holding home button. I did switch to an older cable too.

Do u have to connect it with Mac or any PC would work??
Either PC or Mac with iTunes and an internet connection will work
