Does any of you recognize what app it could be for that purple glare at the bottom of the pics? Very few people have it, but I like this effect a lot and I can't find it. I've tried most of the apps on the AppStore but I've come up with nothing. It works for both pictures and videos and it has different shapes... at first I thought it was a glitch on the iPhone camera but I'm 100% sure it's not. If any of you know what it is, please let me know! Thank you very much!

The effects you are seeing do not come from an app, no matter what you think you have been told. They are the result of lens glare and obstruction. Pretty much anyone but you would consider them to be undesirable

I have seen some apps that have filters that imitate lens flare and light leaks. The resulting pictures look much like these. I've never understood the aesthetic, either.

Yes there are - Photoshop does this. But the use of such effects, when applied properly, can be very aesthetically pleasing. That is NOT what is going on in the images posted here: these are not intentional effects.

I told you it's an app....

In fact, you have no way of knowing how the photos were made, not even that they were taken on an iPhone. At best, this is pure uninformed speculation and possibly deliberate fabrication.

If you think it isn't then don't write here.

Classic troll tactic. You have absolutley no say who posts in this forum, or what is said.

Are you serious? How old are you guys? 2? I asked a question to which you don't know the answer, move over. I'm tired of this, and I'm not going to sit here and get insulted.

As for how I'm sure it's an app, since this girl (who really is famous, since she has more than 5 million followers on instagram) has started with the purple glare, also her friends have. Besides, she's always used lots of light leaks... she used KitCam, but that's not KitCam because I have it.

If you want to play, go play somewhere else, because I asked a serious question to which I'd like to receive a serious answer. Thank you

Purple lens flair occurs with the iPhone 4 and virually all cameras, to less extent than the iPhone 5. This does not prove anything.

Since you are "convinced", and no rational discussion can sway you, I suggest start holding your breath now for someone to reveal this deep secret app that many 1000's are using, yet a mystery to you. You might also want to be holding onto DNR form.
