ttys000 appearing as a user logged on in terminal

I am currently learning about more about Terminal through some tutorials hence I do not have much knowledge. I haven't played around much with Terminal, but a friend a couple of months ago was changing some settings via it, I can only assume any variances arise from that.

The command 'who' shows two users logged in:

myname console Aug 10 15:42

myname ttys000 Aug 10 16:27

ttys000 login time also changes, in the brief time I tested it changed from (16:00 to 16:27), I'm not sure if this is significant.

I've also checked which processes are running using the 'ps' command and this appears:

PID TTY TIME CMD
842 ttys0000:00.08 -bash

If anyone could shed some light on this, I would appreciate it.

Thank you in advance
