My son has forgotten the passcode he set on his sisters iphone 3gs

Hi All, My son borowed his sisters i phone 3 gs after she upgraded to the i phone 4. He set a new passcode on it, lost it,and by the time he found it he had forgotten the passcode. Can anyone help, or offer advice please ?
