iMac DVD/CD player not working. What solution?
my imac's dvd/cd player doesn't function properly. It either rejects DVD's outright or reads CD's very slowly.
Is there anything I can do about it myself?

First, try cleaning the superdrive with a proprietory CD/DVD lens cleaner that uses tiny brushes.
