OpenOffice for MacBook?

I'm a fan of OpenOffice and have been using it on both my Mac and Windows machines.

I don't want to buy a MacBook until I'm sure OpenOffice runs on it.

Does anyone have OpenOffice running on MacBook?

I have it running on my pro. I had to use the install disk to grab X off it, and then i installed a port (i think...) just fine. Its slower than an old copy of PPC Office i have around, so i just use office to view the 2 .xls/.doc files i get per month.

If u want more inf, feel free to mail me.
