10.8.4 will not update...stuck at 10.8.3

My app store has the 10.8.4 update in queue and ready to go. When I click update, it asks to restart...so I do. Upon restarting, the app store loads again with the update ready to go, but when I click it, the download bar appears for a very quick moment and then the restart window comes up like before. What's interesting is that when this second restart request is up, the button next to the update in the app store says "Installed" as if I already installed the update...but no matter how many times I restart and click update, I am stuck at 10.8.3

What's going on?
