finder crashes

Finder keeps stopping and reloading when I use it to look at files (any files, not particular ones). Usually this is every minute or so and makes it hard to do just about anything after I drill down a few levels.

This just started a few days ago. I have tried rebooting, Safe boot and reboot. Reloading finder.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), Solid state disk

Try to reindex your volume according the instruction below:

Killing Google Drive also worked for me. Which is a shame, 'cause I want to use it.
