late 2008 Unibody Macbook freezes on intial boot
I have a late 2008 Unibody Macbook (2Ghz) that freezes on intial boot-up. If I then turn it off (holding down the power button) and power it on again it boots up fine. My Macbook has 3Gb RAM installed. Aparrently it has been demonstated that whilst on if you move the screen back and forth it can also freeze, rendering the keyboard and trackpad inoperative, this is also results in having to power off and power on again. Cold the issue be the RAM? I do not know if the RAM was upgraded by the person I bought it from or if it was configured with 3Gb when they bought the macbook from Apple, therefore I cannot say if the RAM is Apple compatible (although I would hope it is)
MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
