sharing photos by e-mail arranged by version name

I do not see a way to get the starting point reset without using Edit. Maybe someone else will have a method. I never use this to change names in my Library, but only with certain Export actions, at which time I am not bothered to custom reset everything.

Sending Feedback on this as a desired feature could be a good thing.

Kind just jumped in here and not sure if this will help but if the filenameing preset is counter then you can reset the counter from the export dialog window without having to edit the preset

If you click the curved arrow the counter goes back to the initial count

Yeeeeeah!!!!! It works!!!!!!!! There is the same arrow in batch parameters!

You're right the reset arrow will appear anywhere the preset used for the filename or version name contains counter. It will even be in the Import pane if you rename files on import and use a counter when you import.
