Xcode opens to a no editor screen

I'm interested in making desktop widgets. I'm running OS 10.8.4 and downloaded the latest version of xcode 4.6.3. I go to run xcode and I get a blank screen with the message No Editor. The machine locks up and I can only get out of it by doing a force quit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This doesn't work:

1. Remove everything under ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData

2. Remove the directory ~/Library/Saved\ Application\ State/com.apple.dt.Xcode.savedState

3. Remove the file ~/Library/Autosave\ Information/com.apple.dt.Xcode.plist if it exists.

4. Remove the file ~/Library/Autosave\ Information/Unsaved Xcode Document.xcworkspace if it exists.

5. Remove any other .xcworkspace files you find there.


My path has no Developer. No Autosave.
