I can't get into the iTunes store!!!
In iTunes when I click on the button to take me to iTunes store a message comes up saying 'The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK store' and now I can't get into the iTunes store at all

Same problem from Poland
Same in Russia
Well we all have to just sit tight and wait until Apple can resolve this issue, at least we all know it's affecting the European continent and it's not just one person having this issue either.
I have the same problem too (UK), but Apple don't seem to think there's a problem judging by their system status page: http://www.apple.com/uk/support/systemstatus/
That's weird😕 we have to contact apple directly so they know about this situation, especially if the system status is saying that iTunes is running normally
i can enter itunes on ipad but cant on macbook - strange thing
Problem occurs only on my PC (windows7). Store runs normally on my Iphone.
All right people just another favour to ask, can you please tell me if it's affect your PC/Mac, your iDevice or both thank you for the help everyone I'm in the process of contacting Apple about this situation.
on iphone work perfectly, on imac store is down...
It will only affect Macs and PCs as it is NOT the mobile site that has gone down.
I tried ringing Cupertino, but got messed around so hung up.
It's down both on my Mac (Mountain Lion) and my Windows laptop (Windows 8).
I'm kind of stunned that such a major outage as this, which is so widespread is not ringing alarm bells in California right now. Looking through the forums, this has been an issue for well over two hours now and is across Europe.
If this was my business, I'd be fielding irate clients by the bucket-load.
It only affects my Mac.
PC (windows 7) and laptop (windows 8) do not connect (unless I search but no music available to me).
iPhone connects
ipod touch connects
ipad connects
Thanks everyone for the replies you've all been very helpful. I've contacted Apple support via e-mail and they will contact me within 24 hours.
Summary of the problem so far:
Affecting European countries
Affecting PCs and Macs
Running smoothly on iDevices
Note: I can connect to the store on my iPod Touch however I can't see the music section but the rest works fine.
Once again thank you everyone for the help, once apple has contacted me I will tell you all the reply. Hopefully the issue will be resolved by tomorrow.
