16GB-what does that mean?
Okay, so I am about to purchase an iPad, but I want to know if I get the 16GB will I just not be able to store as much information on it such as watching movies, taking photos, etc?

That was a GREAT article and it had lots of other links that had good information too. I really appreciate your suggestion! P.S. After reading all of that I got the 32 GB 🙂
Yes, that's correct. Here's a good article for you: How Much iPad Memory Do You Need? Find the Right Model For Your Storage Needs.
Personally, I would get at least 32 GBs. You'd be surprised how fast storage space gets used up.
That is correct 16GB is the amount of storage you get. On iPads there are 16, 32, 64, and 128 GB available.
A GB or Gigabyte is unit of measure of digital storage. Movies in standard definition for instance require around 1.2 to 1.5Gb of storage space depending on the length of the movie. HD movies requie about double that. Photos are around .003 GB or about 3MB (Megabytes) depending on resolution and quality.
Basically if you think you'll want to store many movies and tv shows, go for a larger size.
