willl i lose all the tv shows and movies ive bought if i restart apple tv?
No. Restart just runs restart, just like on a computer. Nothing is lost, at least I have never lost anything. Reset, that is a different story.
I have run restart maybe ten times, and a couple of times it stopped a small dysfunction.
