Can't get pictures from Kodak EasyShare to iPhoto.

I've got a problem. I find myself unable to upload pictures from the internal storage on my Kodak EasyShare Z7590 to iPhoto on my MacBook Pro. I am getting the message that, although the listing of all jpg pictures appears in the message, they cannot be uploaded because they are an unrecognized format.

JPG is an unrecognized format? I always use the external photo card and transfer using a reader. However, I neglected to put the card back in the camera before taking these pictures, so, of course, they were recorded on the camera itself. I hope that someone can help me with this problem. Thanks...
