Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Setting date and time

I can't access iTunes Match as Apple TV's date and time are not set. When rebooting the Apple TV the unit is stuck on 'setting date and time'


Tried all suggested work arounds but it is normal they don't work as it has nothing to do with local network settings. It worked before.


Went to the router logging and Apple TV tries to get his settings from 17.151.16.21 (time.apple.com) apparently this server is down. Doing a tracert to this IP stops at 4.69.152.81, Level 3 infrastructure.


Any idea how long this server will be down??

Hi Patrick,


Pressing the menu button on your remote should bypass this screen and allow you to continue with setup. If that does not work, however, here are some additional troubleshooting ideas:
