The tweet "" cannot be sent because the connection to Twitter failed.

I got this message once with youtube. It might just be a marginal network connection. Try uploading with a more solid network connection and the problem might go away.

I'm having the same problem, and it has nothing to do with the connection. I cannot post pictures to Twitter anymore. I'm also on a 4s, which I think is not a coincidence.

I have the same problem on an iPhone 5. It works fine on my iPad, but not iPhone. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but that made no difference. I can attach a photo to a tweet using Echofon, but can't send a photo directly from my camera roll.

I had an iPhone 4, upgraded it to iOS 7, everything was working fine.

I bought a 5S, moved all the stuff from the 4 over to it, and now I am having the exact same problem

+ It only happens in the photo album, posting a picture from the Twitter app works fine

+ I have checked the "Privacy" settings for Photos, and Twitter is enabled

The only thing I can think of for this one-way-issue is that under settings, if I select "Twitter" at the top level, "Photos" is not listed as an app that can use Twitter. But there isn't a place to *turn* it on. My bet is this is the issue. Any fixes yet?

I am having the same issue, but with Safari. Anytime I have attemtped to tweet from Safari, the connection fails.

I have and Iphone 5s Running the latest version of IOS7.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's a twitter problem. You must log out of the account you're trying to post with in Settings and log back in.

Settings>Twitter>"Your Account Name">Delete Account

Then add the account again.

I had this problem because I had changed my password but only signed into the app.

When I went to the iPhone settings, twitter, I had to enter my password and after that I was OK

dont need to delete the account, just sign out and then sign in

Just had this age trying to post to twitter for the YouTube app. Deleting then re-adding the account did the trick. Nice one.

Think it might have happened because I reached the maximum app limit for Twitter auths..

I just ran into this and it turned out that when I went into Settings > Twitter, none of my accounts were signed in. Just signing in to them fixed the problem.
