Printer Meltdown
Hi Guys,
I recently upgraded to a SSD and performed a fresh install of Mountain Lion. Since then my Canon MF4350d will NOT print. Every document sits in the print queue, paused. When I click resume nothing really happens. I've uninstalled the printer driver more times then I care to count. I've reset the printing System many times. I've gone into finder->volume-> Library->printers and trashed the Canon files as well as the PPD file that refers to my printer. I've gone into Launch agents and deleted the two canon files ...UFR2 and ...MFP. I've downloaded the latest driver from Canon's website, Installed it, and restarted my computer. All done more times than I care to admit, in the hopes that I missed something. Every avenue leads to the same point. I've called Canon and called Apple and they both blame each other and say there is nothing they can do. The printer itself works fine and it is communicating with my computer as it scans as before.
Here are my particulars if it helps.
I'm running 10.8.4 on a MBP 6,2. Printer is directly connected using USB to my MBP. When I upgraded from the stock hdd I used migration assistant.
Please, help. Its maddening reading this forum and seeing these steps work for seemingly everybody else.
Sincerly,
THE ROOKIE
