Can u format text in iPad or iPhone Mail?

You can make type bold, italics or underlined in the mail app but you cannot change fonts or the size of the font. Bullets, numbering or indents are not available as options.

Tap and hold down on text in order to select it and then you can choose BIU from the options bar and in the next popup you can select Bold, Italics, Underline or any combination of the three formatting options.

This is really rather pathetic. We have so many advanced features on the ipad, but can't get basic email formatting? Hey apple you reading this?

Well lets see if it does any good. I wrote a couple notes. One for the iPad and one for my Macbook Pro.
