I have a US itunes account, but I live in Germany now and need to download a German app, how do I create another apple ID for the German store?

I have a german address, so do I have to create a whole new apple id? Also, am I able to switch back to teh US account once I download this 1 app? I just hope I can use all of the apps under 1 apple id once they are downloaded...

You can continue to use all the apps on your phone, but if not physically located in the US anymore, you won't be able to purchase from the US store.

Bear in mind, copyright laws vary from country to country, as well as laws regarding what can/cannot be sold. It would be much easier for Apple to have one store available everywhere. But, that's not the world we live in.

Contact the developer of that free German app and ask him to make it available
in New Zealand. Developer decides where an app will be sold, not Apple.
I dont think that is true with apps, with music and other media: YES, but as far as apps; i have a German iPhone with US apps that match my US iPod...
But if someone can tell me how to get Blitzer.de? it is kicking my butt for 2 reasons: when i set up a dummy German account it first says app is for US stores, then when i re-log in on my us account its telling me the opposite #confused.
Apps are protected intellectual property just like music and other media. Not
all apps are available in all countries. Contact the developer and ask him to
make the app available in your country's AppStore.
