iPhone problems

my iphone 5 that i just got yesterday from the apple store, is not getting or sending mail Tried a few things from online with the trouble shooting, but they did not work, like going to settings and reestablishing a new account, checking my password and email account, making sure wi fi is on Tells me CANNOT GET MAIL my email is not responding and asks me to verify that i have entered the correct account info, which i have done numerous times now! VERY, VERY frustrating!!!

Thank you for all your help. It ended up that I had to delete my account and add it back in for some reason it was not taking the information, but did when I reentered it. SOOO keep that in mind if someone has a similar problem. I did call comcast, and they told me that it was not a problem of theres, which they were actually correct. Thank you again for your help
