I found this app online that can fully customize the dock on mountain lion i did the trial and its working but why is it that there arent many sites talking about it since its the only way to fully customize mountain lion dock.
is it a virus or is it safe to use

I've the app by Clean My Mac.
Now that is one app that should be avoided. It often removes system files causing considering damage. Also never, never use MacKeeper. Go to User Tips (23) and there are a couple of posts regarding it.
Have you contacted the developer to get the directions for removing it?
this can easily be fixed, all u have to do is reinstal the OS ontop of your old one and it will get fixed and all your data and settings will stay there just go to the appstore download OS X mavericks and install it or if u have a copy stored on your mac just install it
i was able to go back from os x 10.9.3 developer preview to os x 10.9.2 without loosing any data
That would fix it, but you don't even have to do that. The uninstallation direction are posted on the website, and tell you that you have to disable DockMod before you uninstall it. If you've already uninstalled it, then you just re-install, and then disable it, and then uninstall it again.
Again, the webiste has all of this information. On the website, there is also a contact form to contact the developer for support. In the application itself is a way to submit a support ticket. If you are having issues with the application, that is most likely the best place to turn for help.
Have the same problem but noticed under settings tap there is switch on and off in the top right corner just switch it off and uninstall it directly do think about your this kind of things before make back up and may but your device on risk
That's good to hear because I've had the same issue now after I downloaded dockmod and then *apparently* failed to see or follow the proper instructions for how to uninstall it and now I'm also haunted by this message saying, "This is the trial version of Dockmod. To remove this notice... etc." and it's really starting to bug me. So if you could aslo let me know how to remove this message than I'd be more than thankful.
And I will take your other suggestions to mind although if I could get a response here as well that would be wonderful.
don't waste your time people with this app, cDock http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdock/ is a fine free app that works like a charm.
The correct way to remove this app
go to this app settings then you will find a switch turn it off after that you will restore the original dock.app
I've been using cDock for at least a year with zero problems. Great, simple piece of freeware software.
