As understood that my iphone 5 model A1429 will work in canada but not on LTE network am i right ?

Maybe.

• If it was purchased directly from Apple as an unlocked phone outside of the USA it will work in Canada on GSM but not LTE
• If it was purchased as a Verizon phone in the USA it will also work in Canada on GSM
• If it was purchased as a Sprint phone in the USA it will NOT work in Canada, as it is locked to Sprint
• If it was purchased from anyone other than Apple or Verizon it had to have been hacked to unlock it, and it may not work anywhere, and certainly can never be updated.
