I need help.
Side switch is not working.
I cant use it to mute or unmute
I cant use it to toggle between Portrait or Landscape.
My iPad is locked to Portrait.
Who can help to rectify this problem??

It still does not work. I followed every instruction on the page. I have also resteted. Screen still not rotating.
Not all Apps offer this feature...
Settings > General > Lock Rotation..
Or...
Double-press the home button...
Swipe to the right until you get to the Portrait Orientation Button...
If no joy...
Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Restore “...
Hello Ana, thanks for your assistance. I have connected to iTunes and restored, I have done everything, I know with apps that work in landscape like safari at least or the home screen in general. it just will not work. I feel really bad.
Hey People, you will not believe it ... I sorted it out... in a very very funny way...
I hit the IPAD on the ground a few times, I reset it with the Home Button down and the Power switch... and hurrray, it can rotate again.
I cant explain the engineering behind it but it worked....... Thanks all you peoples...
The reset probably did the job.
The switch reset by hitting the iPad on the ground several times is new to me, learned something here. Thank you.
Trust me Diavonex,
I rest over a zillion times, I even reset to factory default (an loading back my apps now)
but it did not work UNTIL... I purnished it by hitting it on the ground... in its pouch though... and that sorted it out...
Maybe there is some sort of fluid somehow that needed to get back in place or the Switch itself shifted and hitting it on the ground returned it to its position...
Funny though...
It is possible that the Side Switch was stuck and hitting it "unstuck" it.
