I have apple tv 1st gen and recetly it kept freezing up on me so I reset it to factory reset and now I'm getting flashing apple logo and can't seem to fix this issue.

sounds like a hardware issue
maybe the small fan inside the appletv broke and
that is causing boot issues with the device
