.....Has anyone heard a peep about word macro faults for 6 years?

I still occassionally run into a user that found one, but they are few and far between. Technically, only Office 2008 is invulnerable to them since it does not allow Macros, but anybody still running Office 2004 and older or 2011 is vulnerable if they decide to allow macros and ignore the warning you should choose to receive. There has been Word malware recently, but I don't believe Macro's are involved.

Microsoft apparently thinks it's worth discussing with What to do if your Word for Mac has a macro virus which was last updated in October 2011.

I presume you also know that there have been proof-of-concept Mac viruses that have not been observed in-the-wild.

Yes, I know demented minds with far far too much free time on their hands in some countries are crunching their brains on how to,.. as one hacker called it "get a worm into the solid steel apple"

As one famous hacker I met once told me..... "Ive got a Mac dude,...cause I dont want people like me getting into my computer and messing with it"

Thats kind of like finding out what kind of lock a master theif has on HIS door.
