Spinning beach ball of death problem
It's only doing it on one app and it goes on spins endlessly until I force quit it and then I get the report. Here's how it started. I opened up (system preferences) and went to the desktop/screensaver app in system preferences and started looking at the desktop wallpapers. Then I noticed in the left pane that iPhoto showed up. I don't know or not if you can use a photo from iPhoto to set as a desktop wallpaper but here's where the problem started.
In iPhoto I don't have not one photo since it showed up in the left pane for desktop I saw one of the movies I purchased off of iTunes and clicked on that to see what it would do. I was wondering why iPhoto was showing up for desktop choices in that app. Right after that the beach ball of death came on and never stop spinning.
Where all the desktop wallpapers were is now a blank screen and all desktop wallpapers are gone and the screen is totally white and the beach ball spins and on the screen where all the wallpapers were it says (loading images) but never loads anything and the beach ball never stops spinning and I to force quite (system preferences) and I cant even go to the upper left hand corner of the browser to force quit it because the beach ball keeps spinning even when I try to put my pointer in the upper left hand corner to force quit on system preferences it won't let me do it from the upper left, I have to force quit it from system preferences icon (on the dock) then a report comes up that's sent to Apple.
I restarted the computer and opened up system preferences again and when I clicked on the backround and screensavers app it did it again. So I force quite again and keeps doing it and is a permanent problem just on that one app. And the screen is still blank with no wallpapers and says loading images right after I clicked that one time on iPhoto and the movie I rented showed up that went it first started. Now permenant. Blank screen with none of the wallpapers and beach ball of death. Any idea.
I went to that Kamp's page and don't understand most of it. So don't bother sending me there. Furthermore I have a brand new mid 2012 Mac and don't have a disc for Apple diagnostics nor do I know how to clean out the cache. I reset Safari but that doesn't do nothing. This happened right after I clicked on that movie. Now I have no wallpapers on the desktop tab. A couple hours earlier I did a software update to Mountain Lion !0.8.5 This update came out last night. Thursday.
Thanks for your responses. It only does this on this one app now.
