I recently noticed that Safari is unable to run Flash (the problem probably began within the past few months). I've updated Flash from Adobe's website and followed the instructions here: http://daringfireball.net/2010/11/flash_free_and_cheating_with_google_chrome. The odd thing is that both Firefox and Chrome are able to use flash without any problem.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Make sure: Allow all other plug-ins is selected.
FYI.. better to update Flash from the Adobe website. Anywhere else may result in introducing malware onto your Mac's hard drive.
