Question

Sudden loss of audio.

I'm running Logic Pro X at its latest update. I'm a guitarist and I only write instrumentals.

I run my guitar through a 1/4inch to USB cable into my macbook pro.

Everything has been running great, it sounds great. For some reason

I can't get any audio coming from my guitar tracks. Any audio track or software

instrument works fine but my guitar tracks that I always go to do not work.

I can't hear my playing while i'm recording and while i'm not.

This all of a sudden happened tonight and It had been working fine

probably an hour earlier.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it. I need this for work.

Try shutting down and restarting your Mac. (Do not just restart but shut down completely)

Do you have Input monitoring enabled on your guitar tracks? That would be the "I" in the track header, if so disable.

Do you have Low Latency Mode enabled? Disable

Have you check Logic's Preferences/Audio/Devices to make sure the Input and Output device are correct?

Everything is how it's always been when it was working before it malfunctioned. The program gets the signal, just no audio at all but plays every other track back.

Are the files too big? If so convert them to jpeg, or reduce their size by 50%.

Are you using the camera icon to find & upload the files.

Just close the upload dialog box, exit the edited post and start again. Its a forum bug that causes this...

Why is the tape delay deactivated? Remove it from the insert slot.

If that doesn't work remove the plugins one by one. (just don't resave the preset)
