After updating, stuck on processing file

I have the same problem too. I do not know if this can be useful, but the download.app application in the /Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications/Downloads/app-you-are-downloading.tmp folder seems to be a Classic application, and thus it should not work under Mountain Lion. Even if this is the case, I do not know how to solve this; any help (possibly form Apple) is appreciated.

Also the same problem here in AU. Spoke to support and they said that they can not see any problems with iTunes servers. Very odd that its a world wide problem.

Just tired again, also in Oz, and it worked this time. Must have been a server issue at iTune's end.

In Italy worked for one app, and then it got stuck again... But with one change: an error message saying that the iTunes Store could not process the request at this time. So it seems having something to do with iTunes servers worldwide...

just try again this side and still stuck in processing file problem.

Just tried again but same problem. You'd think Apple would at least acknowledge there's an issue here!

Whatever it was, in Italy now seems to be solved: I updated ten applications without problems.

Go to folder "downloads" in iTunes music folder which is the temporary downloads folder for Tunes itself.

If there is any item within (as a leftover from a former download), delete it.

Delay gone.

Worked for me like a charm.

Been doing that. But after one download the file gets stuck in the processing bug. Will wait for 24hrs and see if the program is fixed by Apple.

Seems to be working fine now.

ios7 updated on my Ipod 5. Then as I was setting up I got to the ICloud Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. I tapped on agree. A small box comes up and I I agree again to the icould terms and conditions and apple privacy policy. And nothing frigging happens!!!! I'm still on the same darn page asking me to disagree or agree. NOW WHAT?!!!

1. Exit iTunes (if not possible, force-kill it in task manager, Ctrl-Alt-Del > Task Manager, right click on iTunes and select "End task").

2. Delete every folder in this directory:

OS X:
~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/DownloadsNote: The tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.Windows Vista:
\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\

Windows 7:

\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\

Windows XP:

\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Downloads\

3. Start iTunes and start your downloads again.

Worked for me.
