iOS 7 Calendar List View Gone?

This has been answered several times in this thread.

Firstly - the list view was reintroduced in iOS 7.1 - so if you haven't already updated, do that first.

Once updated, go into calendar.

If you are looking at the month view, just tap any date - this takes you to Day view.

Now tap the "List" icon at the top of the screen (looks like 3 lines).

I disagree, this doesn't seen to have been sorted. If I follow the instructions, you have the option to list events under that particular day only. (The button with 3 lines and a box on top) If I use the magnifier and type in a common letter the I get most of mine up in a list. Unless I am missing something?... I am updated to ios7.1 appreciate ur help though. Thanks.

I don't think you are following my instructions.

If you are getting the lines with a box over it - you are still in Month view - not Day view,

Ah got it, it wouldn't let me go into day view, because I had the box and lines button highlighted...deselecting that allowed me to go into day view so now I can see the full list! Thanks Dilbert...

Thanks this works although the deselection information from Oldfield Hodge helped with the clarification

Same issue. I updated months ago, and use Calendar almost OCD-like. But in the last few days, Calendar won't let me see the full list. Fills the top half screen with the month's calendar and only lists what fits in the remaining screen. Feeling like a moron.

and did you see how to "fix the problem"?

Though I couldn't fix the problem as suggested, the knowledge that others were struggling with the issue gave me the #%!< to start tapping everything in site. That worked. Thx.

One other item I am curious about. Previously, if memory serves, when the calendar was in list view every day was there to be seen, irrespective of whether you have something scheduled that day or not. It now seems when the calendar is in list view that only those days where you have something scheduled shows up in list view. This can be somewhat of a pain when you are attempting to quickly determine what days you have free or have something scheduled when looking at the calendar and list you. Is there a way that you can look at the calendar in list view and have every day in there?

I am not seeing the same icon as yours. I clicked on it but it doesn't show me the old list. All I got is the current appointment details for that day with the time only. I don't see the list by date and time.

In fact I had no problem viewing it today until just now I could switch between the list view and the calendar using the magnifying icon. Even when I tried using my iPhone 4S which I seldom use anymore, I went to the calendar and it gave me the list view but after I touch the magnifying icon it went calendar view and I couldn't switch it back anymore.

I just updated my iOS to 7.1.1 and nothing changed. Any idea?

Tap the icon again to hide the days appts list.

Now tap any day to go to Week view and the icon will switch to 3 lines. Tap it and you will see an appt list you can srcoll thru.

A short thank you message to JohnnyDawg (March 10th) for finding the solution to the "lost list view".

How on Earth you managed to work that one out I can't imagine but it certainly improved my day!!

Thanks Chris "Brilliant Dude" CA. I finally understand how to get back to the scrolling list for everyday. It's been driving me crazy. I hadn't seen the difference between the 2 icons: month+that day's list vs scrolling list of every/any day. They look so similar that I hadn't recognized that they were different. My sanity is back.

Louis1946 and everyone – this really helped thanks. You're right the list view isn't at all intuitive, but once you explained it I understand. The beauty of most of iOS 7 and OSX is that you can find your way without a guide. Hope Apple fix this. Thanks.
