iOS 7 Calendar List View Gone?

Just updated to iOS 7 and it looks like List View in Calendar is gone? AAACCCK! With multiple shared calendars enabled (my wife's, kids school events etc.) I'm finding it very hard to see what my day(s) look like without scrolling like crazy through graphical representations of events. I'm accustomed to just viewing the list and scanning by color of events (for example my work calendar is green).

Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a casualty of the redesign? I'm hoping the former, but if it's the latter I'm about to cry!

Click the magnifying glass at the top right. Should go into list view.

But we dont want to download another app, we would like to use the original app from apple with icloud and siri and all other options it offers.

Using another app doesn't prevent you from using Siri. Other apps pull from the same database. They're just a different way of looking at the same information. Tell Siri to make an appointment and it will show up in Week Cal or whatever calendar app you're using. Same thing with iCloud. Any syncing you have set up will continue to work. Or, continue to complain.

And no, the feature is not "critical to every user".

Best of luck.

I would also like to voice my extreme displeasure with the new calendar in iOS7. I loved the buttons at the bottom that let me switch between month-view and list-view and I typically kept my calendar in list-view by default. Now, having to go into "search-mode" in order to get the list seems kludgy at best. Sure wish Apple would have given the option to use the "old-style" calendar.

If the feature is not so critical, then you wouldnt have in the first 24 hours: 2139 Views.

So i do bealive it is critical,

And Second if Apple builts something good and then makes is worst, and you proposition is to use another app, then you dont see the point in using an Apple product, you should just sugest go use an Android phone.

I was saying it's not critical to EVERY USER. This post was actually originally about the list view, not the month view so even if views could be correlated with how much people care (they can't) it might mean they care about something else.

Apple makes a great phone. And great software. That doesn't mean it's the right software for everyone. That's why Apple created the App Store. Week Cal will give you back the view you consider so critical. Or, you can keep crying about the fact that Apple doesn't. Your choice.

Best of luck.

I agree and I really enjoyed the multiple to views the previous iOS had for the calendar. I really like having the simple little box at the bottom saying what each start time was so I could quickly look and see the appointments and see how many I have for the day. I have never cared for the agenda look, but know that some people do-though I haven't met any of these people...

On a positive note, I like the look and feel of the calendar in list view; however as many others have stated you can't add any appointments in this view.

The calendar is my top app used...

If they don't fix this I will be going Android in the Spring.
The calendar is my life and it is just too time consuming this way

Really? You know that Android Calendar is any better? Having switched to Android a month ago, I just moved back to my iPhone 5 yesterday (with iOS 7). If "time consuming" is that big a deal, Android is NOT for you. I like Android well enough, but if you look in the dictionary for "time consuming" it says "See Android." 😁

Apple!!! Bring back the calendar day list view on the IPhone!!

I hate that I have to click on a day and scroll through a 24 hr period to figure out if I have anything planned. The bullet style list was perfect and especially once the iPhone 5 came out which made it way easier to see more items.

Did you guys do any research before getting rid of this function???!
