iOS 7 Calendar List View Gone?

Just updated to iOS 7 and it looks like List View in Calendar is gone? AAACCCK! With multiple shared calendars enabled (my wife's, kids school events etc.) I'm finding it very hard to see what my day(s) look like without scrolling like crazy through graphical representations of events. I'm accustomed to just viewing the list and scanning by color of events (for example my work calendar is green).

Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a casualty of the redesign? I'm hoping the former, but if it's the latter I'm about to cry!

Click the magnifying glass at the top right. Should go into list view.

Just updated my Mini and the lack of list view is disturbing! I use it all the time and now I don't want to update my 4S to IOS7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bummer, as I'm ordering a 5S on Friday :((((

Anyone have any alternative calendar options for IOS that has the list view??

As long as I'm ********, I hate the candy cane interface. Much much preferred the older look. It's difficult to read on the iPad, I can only imagine how crappy it'll look on the iPhone. I thought Jonny was in charge of design?

I completely agree, very frustrated with this needless change. Below is the feedback I sent apple:

"The ability in the iOS 6 (and below) calendar app to view a day's events below the calendar, just by clicking on the day in month-view was very useful. iOS 7 has removed this crucial functionality and made calendar incredibly frustrating to use. Now to check a day's events, you click on the day, then have to scroll around to find it amongst empty space. And it's not quick to then check another day's events, particularly if it's in another week.

All-in-all, the app is far less useful and more cumbersome. A shame as do much else in iOS 7 is an improvement."

Dear Apple - when in month view only a small DOT shows for days where there i have an event. On the old calendar I used to be able to see a brief description of the events I had for the day while in month view. I am VERY ANGRY about this new change. I use month view to do scheduling for my business and having to click on each day and scroll through my events makes this very difficult and drastically changes my productivity. Will there be a fix for this? I updated my Ipad and my Iphone - it is correct on the ipad (shows a brief description in month view) but on the iphone it is going to make my life very difficult if this problem is not fixed.

Meanwhile, there are probably thousands of calendar apps in the App Store. There is most likely one that will meet your needs.

Best of luck.

My problem goes further: when i installed OS7, all of my entries in iCAL were wiped out.

Have no idea how that could happen -- but it did.

I only had one "birthday" still entered (both on computer and phone); everything else, past, present

and future, disappeared.

Yes, there are other calendar apps, and perhaps if I had been using one of them, i would still have

all of my entries. But I place a lot of trust in Apple products and have been encouraged to believe that

something will "just work". Can't say the new Calendar app fits that description.
