iOS 7 Calendar List View Gone?

Just updated to iOS 7 and it looks like List View in Calendar is gone? AAACCCK! With multiple shared calendars enabled (my wife's, kids school events etc.) I'm finding it very hard to see what my day(s) look like without scrolling like crazy through graphical representations of events. I'm accustomed to just viewing the list and scanning by color of events (for example my work calendar is green).

Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a casualty of the redesign? I'm hoping the former, but if it's the latter I'm about to cry!

Completely agree with the growing army of people here who are frustrated with the new calendar app! I wonder how many other users around the globe are equally annoyed, but just haven't found this forum?

The list view under the month was the only way I used the calendar. It worked perfectly for me and I used it maybe 20+ times a day. The new app has me scrolling through the days looking for events, and flicking between various display options... slow and tedious.

I've left feedback for Apple... if we all do the same then maybe they'll address this issue.

Meg: you are right, but you are also wrong.

'Voicing your opinion here accomplishes nothing. Submit your feedback to Apple using the link that has been repeatedly provided. '

1. I have submitted my feedback.

2. Voicing your opinion here INDEED accomplishes something. Want to know why I know that? Because I was one of the people who apple engineering called directly after the release of the iphone 5. I ran their battery profile after discovering some credible bugs. How did they know I had these bugs? Not because I called AppleCare and spoke to 3 different senior advisors.....they called me because of my posts here.

So YES, input here is not only read by, but pursued by apple engineering = Fact.

I agree with everyone else. Not happy about the removal of calendar view! I submitted my feedback.

I am yet another iPhone user who would like the Calendar List View back in iOS 7. There is a work around to touch the magnifying glass, but there is now no way to set list view as the default view. This feature was previously available in iOS 6. Many other people posting in Apple Support Discussions regarding this issue here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5318425?tstart=0 Thanks, Rob.

Dear Apple ~ As a business professional that left BBerry for Iphone, I did so knowing that certain features would not be found on iphone. That's ok, everything has trade-offs. But what I came to love, and what I thought of when I though of "Apple", was the beautiful design, look and clarity of the pre-ios7 calendar. Functionality aside, just standing still, the new calendar is bad...really bad. We can always get used to new fuctions, but you cannot adjust to something that is visually terrible.

Hopefully this post is not so "rant-ish" that it too gets wiped.

Pre ios7 I could select a default view (monthly) so that when I opened Cal it always opened to Monthly View. Is this possible to do on ios7? Hoping so and I just havent found that option. Since they identified the value in offering a default view by virtue of past offerings, I can't imagine they suddenly feel it is not needed?? Hoping that they haven't created a new version that requires additional step as with much of this new ios.

For me, the new calendar app is the biggest ios failure since it all began! Bad bad bad.

I'm now using an app called CalenMob that works very much like the old ios6 calendar. It syncs with the ios calendar so you won't have to re-enter all your events. It's annoying to have to use a 3rd party app for something so vital as a calendar, but this app is working for me. There's a free version you can try. So far the only real drawback is that today's date is not displayed on the app icon. But... it will stay on month view, give you a list below the month, and an added bonus is there is 1 dot per event each day, rather than just having a dot if there's any event(s).

I'm not affiliated with CalenMob at all but the ghastly new ios calendar app has forced me to check them all out. Hope that helps someone!
