I'm sorry, what? Are you saying that you already updated to iOS7, and now it's not showing up in iTunes? Did you do both the iTunes 11.1 and iOS7 update at the same time?

Same problem here, iTunes 11.1, iphone 5 and ipad 2 on ios 7 don't show up in itunes on win 8
I have windows 8.1 and other pc I have widows 8 and still ot workng on both - Apple sh1t update
I set itunes to run in win 7 compatability mode, restarted computer, opened itunes, clicked on itunes store, then back to library, now all good, both ipad and iphone now showing up, hope this helps,
