cannot delete podcasts

I think this sums Apple up they make the software do what they think we need not what we want .

Hm....might have to reserve full comment until we fully test. I went to another thread about this problem to see if anyone had mentioned it had been resolved - if I hadn't seen anything I would have posted something - but I noticed some people there are alreaday saying that although the list view has worked, they have still been having problems upon syncing. Not sure if geraldr or westie3130 have tried this yet. I have not yet synced as of this writing, because I only downloaded the new update earlier today after having already gotten all of my podcast episodes through other means (RSS feeds/downloading files). I have only just today resubscribed to my podcasts in iTunes and will have to wait until new episodes come out tomorrow in order to test syncing. Wish us all luck!

I have synced twice since the update. I had to delete a small number of episodes that I had already played. These seem to be the ones that download while the bad version was running.

There is a different problem. The icon that showed new episodes for a podcast were available is gone. Now every subscribed podcast has the indicator that says there is something to download. Even when they are all old episodes. IOW there is no way to download only new episodes. I have to download each one individually.
