Yeah - pains of early adoption with iPhones huh?

I did the same as ashishalve - was working/activated but never prompted (that I saw) for iCloud restore of my data... so I reset all settings to see if it would prompt, but didn't think it would need another activation :S

Now I wait, retry, wait. 30 minutes+ at this point, OTA or iTunes, no change. Sigh...

It's a very widespread problem at the moment; not just you. You can keep tapping "Try Again" or just wait a few hours/days and it should eventually activate. If all else fails, and I hate to say it... contact Apple Support.

Apple was apparently unprepared for the millions of devices that are simultaneously trying to grab the update. Some computer company, huh?

I'm having the same issue. iOS 7 update bricked my phone, so I was forced to do a restore. That worked, and now it's trying to activate, but it keeps failing. I've been keeping count, and I have now tried to activate 132 times in the last 90 minutes, and it has failed each time. Contacted Apple and they gave me a lame "Sorry, servers are too busy" message. Guy even had the audacity to imply that it's my fault because I updated during the release rush. How about you beef up your god **** activation servers for a large release like this?

I love Apple products, but I LOATHE Apple.

Yes - try a google search for this issue and look how the threads date back to iOS2... Every time you update an iPhone immediately at the release, the servers get flooded because there are many thousands of updates and activations hitting Apple's servers.

I whine but I knew it was a risk. For the brief moment I had it running, it was pretty great!
